Brands rely on celebrities when it’s time to promote a product or spread a message.

We tend to pay attention to the celebrities we love the most, and those who charm the socks off us with their pleasing personalities. There is no question that brands use many celebrities to get our attention, but some names tend to make the roundup more often than others.

If it feels like you keep on seeing Chrissy Teigen and John Legend everywhere, you aren’t mistaken. As it turns out, they’ve made the list of most over used celebrities of the decade. Here’s the rest. . .

All of Me… Seen in an Advertisement (or Two) Near You

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are undoubtedly a power couple who melts all of our hearts. The supermodel’s sincerity and beauty shine through just as Legend proves he devotes ‘All of Me’ to his lovely wife. And while the couple has certainly left an impression on us all, they earn spots on the overused list.

Legend and Teigen for the past decade, have popped up just about everywhere, including in political events, television shows, and a myriad of company advertisements. Even the couple’s beautiful daughter Luna appeared with the couple in a Pampers commercial. The couple has an effect on people that brands love.

Football Player, Actor, Comedian, and Other Overused Celebrities

Terry Crews is another oversized celebrity whose brands have hired to sell just about everything. Turn on the TV and you’ll currently see him in Old Spice commercials. Previously, Crews has appeared in Toyota, AT&T, and State Farm Commercials.

Cardi B also joins the list of overused celebrities. She’s appeared in commercials for brands including Steve Madden, Reebok, and Pepsi.

Tina Fey is an actress whose recent appearances include Allstate and American Express, although those two brands only start the many she’s marketed with in the past.

Easy on the Eyes, Easily, Seen Everywhere

Not that anyone has complaints about it, but you’ll see the handsome face of Idris Elba on TV, in magazines, and elsewhere more often than you’ll see many celebs. He has starred in Toyota Avalon commercials as well as Stella Artois and Mustang Mach-E. His charm exudes in his ads, one of the many reasons’ brands recruit him for their ads. There is little question Elba’s is a face we’ll continue to see in ads well into the future.

Funny Man in Commercials

Jeff Goldblum has popped up in numerous Apartments.com advertisements. In fact, these advertisements alone would earn him a spot on this list. Add his other appearances for brands such as Jeep and GE Lighting and it’s easy to understand why he earns a spot on the overused celebrity list. Not to mention his new show on Disney+ The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

Sisters do it Better

Ending our list is none other than the Kardashian clan. One could write a book discussing the various appearances and deals the sisters have appeared in over the past decade, whether you mention Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, or Kendall. Quick Trim, Protein World, Estee Lauder, Adidas, Fit Tea, and Pepsi are among the numerous ads that you’ll see at least one of the sisters. This is a shortlist, nonetheless, as the sisters are one of the hottest celebs that a brand can recruit for their advertisements.

Still Popping up Everywhere

There are a handful of celebrities that have also made the list of overused celebrities, the ones that keep popping up everywhere. So true to form, they’ve popped up on this blog post. In no particular order, here are the rest of the decades more over used celebrities that keep popping up everywhere:  Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, DJ Khaled, Rob Lowe, Betty White, Shaquille O’Neal, Peyton Manning, Neil Patrick Harris, and Mindy Kaling.
